Surrounded on all four sides by the sea, Japan has always looked to the powerful waves of the ocean for artistic design motifs. The prototype design shown below was created long ago by Yoshiyo Studios in hopes that the perfect location for such a setting will someday be found, enabling the creation and installation of this work. When created in iron, this design will produce a very strong, dynamic architectural space, expressed by the powerful undulations of the waves.
